Norsk Tipping is Norway's government-owned gambling company, established in 1948 originally to operate football pools. It holds a monopoly on most forms of gambling in Norway, including lotteries (Lotto, Viking Lotto, Joker), sports betting (Oddsen), scratch cards, and regulated online casino games (Instaspill). A significant portion of its revenue is distributed to Norwegian sports, culture, and humanitarian causes.
