TheScore Bet was the sports betting arm of theScore, a leading Canadian digital sports media company. Launched in 2019 to capitalize on the opening US sports betting market, it offered a seamless mobile-first betting experience integrated with theScore's sports news and data platform. In 2021, Penn National Gaming (now Penn Entertainment) acquired theScore for approximately $2 billion, and subsequently integrated theScore Bet's technology into its broader ESPN Bet platform, with theScore Bet ceasing standalone operations.
